He was running loose for quite some time and has some scars from cuts and scratches to his face. They should fade with time. Sammy is young, energetic, enthusiastic and very people orientated. He loves people and wants to be with people. He gets upset when left alone and I recommend a strong crate for him when you are out running errands or at work. He wants to be an active member of his family and his ideal family would be one that can equal his devotion. He shows a curiosity in dogs and is neither fearful nor overly assertive towards other dogs. I suspect he would do fine with other dogs. He has shown no interest in cats and I suspect he would do fine with cats. He would do best with older kids who will not be intimidated by his enthusiasm (such as occasionally jumping up on his humans). He has good leash manners.
