Sam is a 5 yr old Black and Tan Coonhound with perhaps a little Pointer as well. He loves to be with his people in the house and is very well mannered He is calm in the house and settles quickly. He uses a doggie door and has never had an accident in the house. Sam loves to run and explore. He is fine with livestock, but will chase small furry critters in a minute. He is friendly and adventurous, so needs a secure fence .He is a 70 pound, handsome, goofy, smart, loving, affectionate boy who would be happy with or without a canine companion. Sam is great with other dogs in general. He will bark to alert, but is not a problem barker. Sam will be a loyal friend to a loving owner. Sam's situation is urgent because of intense hostility aimed at Sam from another dog in his foster home.
