Approximate age: The vet estimated her age to be approximately seven (7) years. Sally weighs 60 pounds.
Personality: Sally is a very friendly girl, constantly wagging her tail and wiggling her rear end! She craves affection and appreciates all the attention one has to offer. She is very eager to please. She gets along great with the three other dogs in her foster home (one small, two medium sized). Despite being an older pup, Sally can definitely "hold her own" when playing with her 8-9 month old foster sister, Annabelle (also up for adoption through Waggin' Tails). Sally is a great listener and does not need to be crated. She is also fully housebroken. Sally also does great when bathed - she is very still, doesn't try to jump out of the tub, and actually enjoys bath time!
Forever home: Sally would fit into any home very well. She is a calm yet mildly playful girl who loves ear, back and belly rubs.

Waggin' Tails Adoption Information: Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue has a standard adoption fee of $175, or $200 for puppies plus a $50 deposit which is returned upon proof of spay/neuter at six months of age. Our adoption process includes an application, vet reference checks, and a home visit.
We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check

With few exceptions, we show our adoptable animals on Saturdays from 12pm - 3pm at Petco in Novi (on Novi Rd south of 12 mile) or PetSmart in Canton (the northwest corner of Ford Rd and Haggerty Rd). Arrangements can be made to meet our rescue dogs outside of Saturday adoption events after an approved application is submitted (the application does not imply an obligation by the applicant or by the rescue group).
Please be kind to our volunteers who have made rescue a second job that they do in their spare time after coming home from full-time jobs. E-mail inquiries will be answered much more quickly than phone inquiries; our phone number is a voice mailbox only.
