Saint Nick came to us from NYCACC after being found at the base of a stairwell, with his leg completely crushed. We don't even want to think about how he ended up like that, but considering there was no one there claiming him, we can only imagine it was from a very bad situation/ owner. He had pieces of bone scattered all throughout his mangled leg. They originally thought it was going to need to be amputated, but after many surgeries it seems that he will do well with the leg over time! He is going for therapy often to help with mobility with that leg, which we will continue for him once he's in his forever home, so please do not let his medical issue hold you back from meeting him, because once you meet him, you'll fall in love! Saint Nick is a young, happy, sweet, affectionate boy who is friendly with other dogs too. He knows sit and takes treats gently, he is energetic but calms down quickly.
