Sage is a 2.5-year-old Australian shepherd/pitbull mix who loves other dogs and people, especially men.
She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.
Sage has been through obedience training and does great with eye contact and hand signals. Because she is a very smart girl, she needs a strong, active owner who will reinforce routines. She is house- and crate-trained and has been living in foster care.
Sage was attacked by a raccoon last year. Since then, she no longer does well with cats/chickens/small fluffy animals. She loves playing and rough-housing with other dogs but may be too intense for grumpy or older dogs.
Sage is a dog on high alert and would do well in agility (she is very fast!) or as a member of an active family. She does get excited when meeting new people so a house with older children would be best.
Sage is a great size and fully grown at around 40 pounds and is a very low shedder. She would do best with a fenced-in yard where she could fully participate in her daily zoomies.
Her adoption fee is $200.
