Sage is the best of 2 herding breeds. Kelpie and Border Collie. He has the best traits from both of his parents. He is very very intelligent, has a great temperament and is focused on his handler. He learned basic commands in 3 days hands down. He wants to work, so if you have livestock to round up -this is your boy! We think he is capable of working stock without too much guidance using his instincts, but as a livestock handler you always need to be there to guide him and let him know what you want. So great natural ability to read stock. He is currently on a ranch now with cattle and horses. Lots of energy , he is a people pleasing dog!!!! If you just want a family dog he can go that way too. He will be happy to herd dragon flys in the back yard, and Im sure lizards lol. Great temperament, very playful.. He requires an active lifestyle AND mental stimulation. Medium sized, neutered and utd on all vax, dewormed. We are seeking either a working home or an active family situation for him.
