My Story

My name is Sadie and I am about 11 months old. I am a little Shepherd/Pinscher cross. It sounds like I’d be a big girl, but really I’m quite small. I only weigh about 40 pounds! I am the friendliest girl you will ever meet, I love to play fetch and give hugs and lots and LOTS of kisses. I am very energetic and love to play with other dogs.

I walk very well on a leash. I know when my foster mom stops walking that I am supposed to stop too, and then sit down until I am told to “heel” and walk again. I have been to the off leash park where I love to run, fetch, and make friends with other dogs, but I always come back as soon as I’m called. I am easy to train because I LOVE treats and will do anything for them. I can sit, lay down, come, and “go home” to my kennel. I am also completely house trained and crate trained to sleep through the night.

I have a heart shaped spot right smack in the middle of my forehead and my foster mom says its because I have so much love to give. Its true! If you are looking for a doggie to snuggle all the time, give you lots of kisses and always great you at the door, then I’m your girl!

I am microchipped, spayed, and up to date on all my vaccinations. I am ready to find my forever home and someone to love me as much as I will love them.
Adoption Application
NEW HOPE DOG RESCUE is not a shelter. Our dogs are placed in loving foster homes. WE NEED FOSTER HOMES TO HELP MORE DOGS - CONTACT US TODAY!!!

Definitions:

Pending - means that we are working through the adoption process with the 1st applicant. We usually don't add the pending until we are pretty sure the adoption will go through (like at the home visit stage)

On Trial or Trial Visit - means that the dog is in their new home for up to 2 weeks before the adopters need to commit to keeping the dog. We want to make sure that everyone is happy with the new living arrangements! We allow this option for everyone except very long distance adoptions (too far to drive).

Adopted - you know!! A happy ending for a homeless dog. We try to let everyone know when we have the final word. Within about 24 hours, the dog's bio will be moved to our happy tails section!
