Sadie

Sadie is sweet sheltie/border collie mix. She is just 2 years old. She is big for a sheltie and a bit smallish to to be a border collie, but come and see her and see for yourself.


She is a high energy, food motivated girl. She loves people but is a bit bossy with other dogs as she wants to be in charge. She is learning commands very quickly.

Because of her energy level, we won't place her in a home with toddlers, but she loves people and would be great in a home with older kids or teenagers.

Approved applications are based on best fit and not first submitted. Michigan Sheltie Rescue reserves the right to refuse any applicant, it is within our discretion to make these decisions on behalf of our dogs.

We do require a home visit and a veterinarian reference. Please contact your veterinarian to give them permission to release information to us. Once we have reviewed your application and received a favorable reference from your veterinarian, our adoption coordinator will contact you. Please be patient as this process could take several days.
