Great news! A wonderful woman came to look at Brutus and Sadie today and wants to adopt them both together, pending Brutus' surgery. We are still in need of assistance with their medical bills, so please contact us if you are interested in sponsoring one of them.**********UPDATE: Sadie is now spayed. She had her surgery on 1/10 and is doing great. She came through surgery just fine. We will be continuing to help her gain weight and then she will be ready for her new home!***Sadie came from a very sad situation but things are looking up for her now. After being tied to a dog house for the last several years with moldy food to eat and a creek to drink out of.....she is in the comfort of STAR. Three big feedings a day and a comfy couch to sleep on! She is going to be just fine. She does not get along with other dogs(except her friend Brutus) so would need to be in an only dog home. She would prefer someone with knowledge of large breed dogs too! She has had blood work done and that was all normal and a fecal sample which revealed she had worms but she has been treated for them too. She will be spayed on Jan. 20th and then she will be ready for her new home! Check out Brutus, her companion that came in with her.
