My Story

Arrival story: Their dad and mom are also up for adoption through us...Ricco and Reba.
NOTE: THE PUPS WILL NOT BE AT OUR REGULAR SHOWINGS UNTIL 8/25/07 BECAUSE THEY ARE ONLY 5 WEEKS OLD AS OF 8/10. IF INTERESTED IN MEETING THEM BEFORE THAT TIME, YOU NEED TO FILL OUT A PRE-ADOPTION APPLICATION AND EMAIL/FAX IN AND A VOLUNTEER WILL GET BACK TO YOU.

Approximate age: These puppies were born on July 6th, but we are taking applications now for when they are ready. They will most likely be large dogs as adults. Mom is 40 lbs and dad is 125 lbs.

Personality: Ryder is soooo cute! He is playful with his brothers and sisters and also loves human attention. He is one of the bigger puppies and is fluffy! He is expected to be a big boy full grown.

Forever home: Like all puppies, he deserves a home willing to train and socialize him so that he can grow into a well behaved adult dog. His ideal home would be dog people that don't mind a hairy big dog!

Contact: [email protected] for an application or visit our website.

Waggin' Tails Adoption Information: Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue has a standard adoption fee of $175, or $200 for puppies plus a $50 deposit which is returned upon proof of spay/neuter at six months of age. Our adoption process includes an application, vet reference checks, and a home visit.

We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check
www.waggintailsdogrescue.org for the dates of our next adoption events. With few exceptions, we show our adoptable animals on Saturdays from 12pm - 3pm at Petco in Novi (on Novi Rd south of 12 mile) or PetSmart in Canton (the northwest corner of Ford Rd and Haggerty Rd). Arrangements can be made to meet our rescue dogs outside of Saturday adoption events after an approved application is submitted (the application does not imply an obligation by the applicant or by the rescue group).

Please be kind to our volunteers who have made rescue a second job that they do in their spare time after coming home from full-time jobs. E-mail inquiries will be answered much more quickly than phone inquiries; our phone number is a voice mailbox only.

Thank you for your support of rescue and your interest in a rescue dog!
