Rusty, who is estimated to be around 10 years old, came into our rescue a year ago when his owner was being evicted from her home. She knew she was going to be living on the streets and wanted better for Rusty. It was one of the saddest surrenders we've ever seen. When our volunteer went to pick him up, instead of a collar and a leash poor Rusty had a phone cord tied around his neck. He has been living in the home of a generous volunteer for the last year, but additional family members have moved into their home and it has just gotten to crowded. Now, Rusty is looking for a home of his very own, the last home he will ever have. Rusty is great with other dogs and people. He would prefer to be in a home where someone is home with him most of the time. He does have some storm anxiety so keep that in mind if you are interested in this sweet boy. Rusty has had a very tough life, and would so much love to have his own family. Please consider welcoming this sweet senior boy into your family.
