Rusty is a beautiful dog inside and out. He is a cockapoo, but seems to have taken after the cocker spaniel side moreso than the poodle side. He loves to play but will take naps throughout the day and is not hyper. He is very affectionate and sweet.
Rusty has had several training classes and knows sit, down, shake, stay, and walks well on a leash. He gets along very well with other dogs and is completely housebroken. He is 3 1/2 years old and approximately 22 lbs. He uses a doggy door.
He has adjusted well to his foster home and quickly grew attached to his foster Mom. He is a little shy when first meeting men, but warms up after getting acquainted. He seems to have a bit of separation anxiety and would do best in a home with a stay-at-home-Mom or retired couple. He would also enjoy the company of another dog with a submissive (not overly dominant) temperament.
