Rumba

Rumba is a very sweet, petite black/rust dobergal with cropped ears and a docked tail. She weighs about 60 pounds and just turned 3 years old on March 18. Rumba is house trained and is not destructive. She enjoys chewing on rawhides and knuckle bones. Rumba loves to run the open fields where I live and also really enjoys playing with her humans. A large fenced yard for Rumba to play and exercise in would be ideal. Rumba's exercise requirement is fairly high. She did jog with her previous owner so if you are a jogger Rumba is up for a good run. Rumba can be a bit high strung at times but not excessively so. When she gets excited she may turn in circles or jump up because she is so happy to see you but if you ignore her, Rumba understands that she needs to calm down. She has had some formal training and is very obedient. Rumba rides well in the car. Rumba is frightened of dogs that are boisterous and try to jump on her or growl at her but if allowed to have her own space and go at her own pace she is fine with dogs her own size. Rumba would not be comfortable going to a dog park. Rumba is a sensitive, endearing soul who is looking for a kind, loving adopter who can offer her a quiet home environment.
