This posting is indeed meant to tug at the heartstrings of dog lovers…particularly one dog lover who can make good things happen for this particular good, old dog. My husband has accepted a new role within our company that necessitates a move for our family to Panama. Well, most of our family. fter much deliberation and selfless consideration, we have determined that Rugby, the 13 year old yellow lab we’ve have had since a pup, would not survive the transport let alone life in tropical Latin America. Rugby needs to live his last days stateside. And so…Rugby needs a home. If you have a place for Rugby to walk around outside, lie in the sun (assuming the sun is going to shine this summer) and simply be a sweet old dog, we will entertain all big hearted offers. Rugby is a nice old man, with a good heart and bad breath. He has a host of old doggie issues, but he is still a very sweet, old dog. He's Rugby. I know between the name and breed you can picture exactly what I'm talking about. In addition to enough good Karma and kind words to last a lifetime, we will sponsor Rugby’s continued medications, any and all vet needs, food, post cards, etc. This is not an easy choice for us…just the right one.
