Rufus

Rufus is a handsome 1.5 year old Husky. He has a gorgeous copper colored coat and yellow topaz eyes. Rufus was brought to us as a stray wearing a collar, but nobody claimed him. He has since doubled in size, and has transformed into a majestic looking Husky. We believe Rufus was an Olympic swimmer in his past life; he LOVES to play in the pool, and tries to swim in his water pail. He is a very playful pooch who loves all kinds of toys. He loves to hang out with his best bud, Diesel. They are like two peas in a pod. He has been around lots of children ranging in age from toddler to 16 and he does great! He would love to have a home with a large yard to run around in. He would also do well with another dog. He has a thick coat so he would be fine as an outdoor dog. Please consider adding Rufus to your family! Our dog adoption fee is $150 which includes spay/neuter, shot, rabies shot and microchip. Puppies that are not old enough to be spayed or neutered prior to adoption will require a $300 refundable (upon proof of surgery being presented to MLDHS) spay/neuter deposit.
