"Ruffous" was brought in to a local vet clinic to be euthanized recently, his owners couldn't keep him anymore...they said he barked too much at the neighbors (he was kept tied outside as an outside dog!! :( Once we got a look at him, we realized how sweet of a boy he really was and thought it a shame to have to send this young boy (3 yrs old) over the Rainbow Bridge. We convinced the owners to relinquish custody to us so we could give him a chance to find a forever home. We're sure the perfect home for poor Ruffous is just a mouse-click away. He enjoys people and the company of other dogs (according to the former owner). He's quite comical to watch and has a happy tail waggin' personality. He is not housebroken, but seems very receptive to training so we recommend a good crate to keep him in while not at home and overnight initially. If you're looking for a beautiful boy of a not-so-common breed, our Ruffous may be the dog for you!
