10/4 Rudy is now in our program and just went to a foster home today. An update will follow once his foster family gets to know him better.
Meet Rudy. This 3 year old fella is one cutie pie!
Poor guy was found as a stray and adopted out from the shelter, and
then with an unexpected death in the family, he's back
at the shelter.
He's kennelled with another dog and doing just fine.
He's very sweet and always trying to capture the heart
of those passing him by at the kennel. His docked
tail wags and still they keep walking. He's been at
the shelter for one month now and our volunteer can't
understand why.
Our volunteer met him and he seems to be a really nice
guy. Very sweet and likes lots of attention. He
certainly knows sit and probably some other commands
as well. He's fine in his kennel run and respects the
fencing. While talking with one staffer, she said, he
does sometimes have an accident inside the run, even
though he has the doggie door, but she thinks it's
because he doesn't want to miss any action or the
possibility of meeting his new family so he stays
inside alot. He's one social dude.
He didn't pay much attention to the kittie cages so he
may be ok in a cat home. This is one nice, young guy
who needs to be part of a family FOREVER. Won't you
consider saving this boy?!
