Rudy is a 1 1/2 year old purebred Golden Retriever. ~~ He is very energetic and playful, loves to be w/ people and with other dogs. Outgoing, confident, exuberant ...... he is full of the joy of life! ~~ Rudy can be a bit opinionated and even hard headed at times, so he will need an owner who is at least as smart as he is, one willing to put in the time and effort to work patiently on his obedience. Rudy is an active boy, not a couch potato, but he settles down well in the house after he has burned off some energy. ~~ Rudy has some basic obedience training. He walks nicely on a leash, is housetrained, knows sit and down, comes when called even off leash and will retrieve for hours.~~ Is too energetic to go to a home w/ children under age 10, as he might accidently knock one over in his great enthusiasm. *** Note: We of course always require a securely fenced yard for all dog adoptions.
