My Story

The adoption donation of $300 includes already completed spay/neuter, vaccinations, and deworming & monthly dose of heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. The retail value of all of these services if performed at a private veterinarian is $600

RUDY is a mere pup that is just 1 year-old and weighs 35 pounds. He is very friendly and according to our Animal Alliance veterinarian lovable. This Keeshond mix was purchased by a family that soon realized they did not have sufficient time for a dog. This happens every day and may hapless companions have their lives totally turned around when brought to a shelter. RUDY, is more fortunate then most, he is safe in foster care. We have found him to be energetic and eager to be around people. He as with all dogs requires lots of nice long walks every day. Taking a dog out is a way to socialize them as well as providing needed exercise. Animal Alliance recommends that all dogs especially young dogs like RUDY be enrolled in obedience training. Training that is followed up at home results in a happy life for dog and owner. Classes are not difficult to find and are held at most pet emporiums and by qualified private individuals. This little guy is very smart and should go to the top of his class. Because his former family did not have sufficient time for him, a new family will need to make the little one Numero Uno. This most precious dog wants so to be a cherished member of a family and be given all the attention necessary to make one little dog very happy. To meet RUDY please fill out the Animal Alliance online application.

This pet is spayed or neutered in accordance with our strict policy wherein all animals are altered prior to adoption. This pet is dewormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.

Prior to submitting an application, please see the Animal Alliance Adoption Process for adoption details.

Animal Alliance is not a shelter where all the animals are housed in one location. Animal Alliance is a foster care network and animals are housed in many different locations. If you are interested in adopting a pet, please apply using the online application; applicants who call our phone line will hear a recorded voicemail with this identical message. We adopt many animals each week and meet prospective adopters at various locations so they can meet the animals they are interested in.
