Rudy

Meet Rudy! Rudy is a charming, adorable moyen poodle. He is currently 11mos old and 38lbs. He is a very sweet, friendly boy. He has done great with a variety of dogs and just wants to play! Rudy was very loved in his previous home but his person wasn’t able to do all the training that she had hoped to. Even so, Rudy walks well on leash (I suspect in a high distraction area that will change), he is crate trained and house trained. He is eager to learn and has already picked up a few new cues since being with us. We are told Rudy is good for grooming and we are getting him an appointment for a trim. Rudy has been through a big change and will need time to adjust. We are seeking an active, adult home willing to continue his force free training. We are working on handling, resource guarding and positive approaches. He picks it up quickly and is doing great! He is a very playful pup but could benefit from some proper play etiquette work as well. Rudy is so close to being a beautiful gem, he just needs a little polish! While it does not matter to many of us, Rudy is AKC registered. Rudy will be available after his 8/30 neuter appointment. We will consider foster to adopt if home is appropriate.
