My Story

#A5631157 Ruby is a sweet little treat with a smooth caramel coat and the most velvety chocolate eyes! Owner surrendered with her sister (who has been adopted) this darling girl is a bit fearful at the shelter, but is trying her best to be brave. She'd thrive the most in a calm and quiet home with a family who is patient enough to earn her trust. However, once Ruby warms up to you, she's a total gem! Ruby is a calm but alert pup whose curiosity shines through. She is also good with other dogs, and may do well as a little sister to the rest of the pets in your household. Take a chance on this diamond in the rough and you'll be well rewarded! 2 year old tan German Shepherd/Boxer mix 43.4 pound spayed female UTD on shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! Came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 6/8/24 as an owner surrender Calm but curious, with a lower energy level - good for couch cuddles and playing with toys Good with other dogs Easy to redirect For some reason, Ruby is missing her tail, but her little booty wiggles are still very cute! Shows some signs of potty training Could use a little more leash training, as well as work on basic commands Best with a patient and loving family, with a calm and quiet household ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed below. Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal's ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.
