Ruby

Ruby is a sweet, five-month-old Labrador Retriever mix who currently weighs 17.3 pounds. This lovely lady loves toys, bones, car rides, and cuddles. She loves people, so she cries a bit in her crate, but calms down quickly and sleeps through the night with no accidents. When Ruby is a napping, she likes tucking her head under something. She just might snooze under your chair or find another little "den" in which to nestle. Ruby is a fast learner who is eager to please! She’s thriving with clicker-training and learning basic commands such as sit, come, potty, and stay. She’s also progressing nicely with potty training, but has a little ways to go. Ruby is great with other dogs and lets them show her the ropes. She hasn't been exposed to cats. Ruby's foster mom shared: "Ruby is the sweetest puppy! She really likes her people and wants to be near them. When they are close, she relaxes and entertains herself with a small toy or just naps. Ruby is OK when her people aren't around. As soon as she sees them, that’s where she wants to be. She loves being outside and relaxes in the yard." Ruby will make a great companion; she has so much love to give! She'd love to meet you! Her minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
