My Story

Hello future family, My name is Roz aka Rozzie - or that's what my foster crew likes to call me anyway and I am a September pup. Although we aren’t sure of my breed, we know that I will likely be a large adult. My foster mom tells me I am her favorite foster pup so far and that I have beautiful smile. I understand several requests like ‘sit’, ‘lay down’, ‘out’, ‘leave-it’ and am a pro at playing fetch. My fosters took me camping and I was a stellar girl-scout. I also have a special love for sticks and will collect them for my chewing pleasure. My fosters installed a doggie door and I know how to use it, so I there are no accidents in the house. I also have a human foster sister, she is 6 and my foster mom loves how gentle I am with her. I might still get excited and jump up when I see her but I do not get mouthy with her. I also have a foster-bro, a senior kitty, who I have learned is the boss around here and lets me know whenever I forget. At night, I sleep on my own doggie bed, either in my foster’s bedroom or in the mud room. Although I don’t necessarily like being left alone, I will stay in a gated space when my foster family is away at work. I can be a little bit timid when it comes to meeting strangers, but I am easily won over with a bit of baby talk and some treats. As I mentioned, my fosters also house a kitty - he doesn't really like me, but I also have a co-foster brother who comes to visit often, Luka, and I am an awesome ‘older’ sister to him. So I would be a very successful second or third pup addition to any home. I am working on leash manners but usually by the end of my walk, when most of my energy has been expended, I do very well. I will be vocal when seeing other pups while on the leash but once I get to meet them it’s all play. I do amazing in play group settings with other pups as well. I’m a very lovable pup and am looking forward to starting life with my forever family! Adoption fee is $295. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed and current on vaccines.
