100 pounds of PURE LOVE! Meet Miss "Roxie," a purebred Saint Bernard who is looking for her forever home. Roxie lost her home after her previous owner lost his and had to move into an apartment that didn't allow large dogs. Roxie had several temporary placements in the past few months, but she is safe with us now until her forever home can be found.....

Roxie is truly a gentle giant. This sweet girl is a total marshmallow. She's really just a big ol' LOVEBUG! Roxie is one year old, so she is still in her gangly, goofy puppy stage. She slobbers a lot, which is part of her charm! Roxie is active and energetic, but she settles down nicely once she's had some exercise. She has very good house manners (except for her tail which is like a whip ~ but she can't help that, of course!) and she appears to be housebroken. Roxie is very smart and obedient. She loves to wrestle and play tug-of-war with her foster dad, but she is very respectful of her (human) foster brothers and sister and does not invade the kids' space when they don't want her to. She gets along well with other dogs, but she does want to PLAY! (If you have an older or very tiny dog, Roxie might not be a great match.) Roxie would love to have a playful, canine friend in her new home.

Roxie has always been an INDOOR dog, so please don't apply to adopt her if you're looking for an outdoor pet. This pretty princess wants a home where she can sleep on the sofa and be a part of the family! She has great house manners, so there's no reason why she can't be an inside dog!

Prior to adoption, Roxie will be fully vetted -- spayed/neutered, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and deworming. Her adoption fee is $200 (cash only, please).
