My Story: Hey there, I'm Rowdy! At this point in life, I don't exactly live up to my name anymore. I'm already 9 years old, born on 7-27-01, so I'm more of a mellow kind of guy. I'm a little on the shy side and would very much appreciate a calm home. I came to the shelter with a bunch of my friends, and now it's down to the final two, me and my cat friend Lois. She's in Kitty City, so we don't get to visit, but I'm sure she's having a great time! My family went through some terrible times and that's why we were brought her. My Mom and Dad were very involved with the passing of the new anti-puppy mill law. I'm very proud of them! But then my Mom and Dad both suddenly died just a few short months apart, and we were left without any really good options. So, we came to the shelter and are now waiting for new home.
I was really terrified when I first got here. Slowly I realized that everyone just wanted us to be as comfortable as possible. Now I'm happy because I trust them, so that means I get to go for walks and run around the rescue room when my kennel is being cleaned. And I do love treats, so I make sure to be the best little dog that I can be just so I can get an extra one or two!

CCHS is a wonderful No-Kill animal shelter. We rely on donations and volunteers to keep running.
