Roux

If you haven't met Roux yet, you're missing out. This 8 year old, 50 lb boy sports the best smile, but that's not all he has to offer: -Is housetrained -Does great in the car. Jumps right in, curls up and naps until you have reached your destination. -Only plays with his toys and does not destroy things that are not his. -Roux is left to free roam when no one is home. Often times he will steal a blanket and use it to nap on until you return. This sweet boy loves cuddling up with you to take a nap. One of Roux's favorite activities is to find a sunny spot in the yard to lay in as he waits for squirrels to chase. After 20 minutes or so, it's time for a nap! Roux has excellent leash manners and knows basic commands. He learned down in a matter of minutes!! He does not get on the furniture unless invited. Roux has quite the fashion sense as well. He is often found sporting a festive sweater and loves to pick out and put on his outfit for the day. He will lower his head and dance while waiting for you to put it on. Roux sometimes forgets how big he is and can be a bit rowdy at playtime. He is best suited for a home with older children and needs to meet any dog friends (female only) before going home. Roux needs a home with no cats; they are way too much fun to play tag with. His ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
