My Story

Ross is a great Hound. He is happy, playful, gets along great with people and other pets and is a good sport. He often seems to be smiling. Ross came to LCSPCA as a transfer from the county pound on 8/9/23 at age 1 year, weighing 48 lbs. He and another dog were found running together lost or abandoned. Despite being sweet, tolerant, goofy and friendly, most Hounds spend months or years waiting in shelters for adopters. Many people think they are hunting dogs, not family dogs, so they get passed-over for Labs, Shepherds, etc. Hounds make wonderful pets. Call (434) 374-8076 or email [email protected].
