My Story

Rosie is going to a home on Wednesday for adoption. Let's all keep our fingers crossed that it works out because it is a wonderful home where she will be very loved! Rosie is a very sweet St. Bernard who was rescued just at the last moment from a shelter. She is very gentle but has a lot of energy and seems to have a great aptitude for learning. She is absolutely fine with cats- she isn't very interested in them and leaves them alone entirely. Her foster mom says she is an absolute delight. She gets along well with all other dogs, even her foster mom's cranky old schnauzer, but she is VERY much a people "person"... she loves to be cuddled and loved on and likes to spend time with her human "pack". Rosie would do best in a household without stairs, as she is currently very skittish around them. She seems very eager to please, however, so the right owner might be able to work with her on that issue. She is up to date on all her shots and we are working on crate training right now. Also, so far, she seems to be totally housebroken. Won't you consider taking Rosie into your family and giving her a forever home?
