Rosie

Meet Rosie - a very calm, mellow and affectionate companion! If you look up lap dog in the dictionary, you will find a picture of Rosie next to the description. She LOVES sitting on her person’s lap and being petted and stroked. If you stop, she will gently nudge your hand to indicate she wants you to continue. She enjoys going out for short walks or to the dog park for a change of scenery. She likes the occasional game of fetch if she is in the mood and suddenly changes from a sitter to a racer! It is amazing to see her zooming around to fetch the ball because her usual speed is slow. Rosie happily sits on her dog bed napping while her foster Mom works. Rosie is house trained. She stands by the door when she needs to go outside. She likes short walks, she walks slowly and does not react to other dogs on walks.. She also does not react when she sees a cat on walks. She is fine in a crate but she sleeps on a dog bed in her foster mom’s room. She does not wander around once she is settled for bed. She gets along well with other calm, mellow dogs. She’s also good around children. Rosie does fine with the groomer. She is just the sweetest girl, and will be the perfect pup for someone wanting a companion. Rosie is looking for a calm, quiet home with or without another dog. She’s going to be a wonderful addition to the family lucky enough to adopt her. Rosie is ~8 years old, 10 lb, poodle mix. She does not shed. Rosie is spayed, current on all of her vaccinations and micro-chipped. She is healthy and recently had a dental (with a few extractions). She is located in Long Beach, California.
