My Story

This rose is a rose is a rose . . . NOT! This rose is unique! She is loaded with personality. Her signature moves are prance, pounce, and attack the toy! She is very happy playing alone with her toys or with her other rescue doggies. She’s a natural clown! Her behavioral and physical traits are closest to a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, an upland hunting dog that is very popular in the Midwest. WPGs also have wonderful dispositions and make super companion dogs. At seven months of age, Rosey weighs 38 pounds with an expected adult weight between 45-50 pounds. Like other sporting dogs, she loves to run and swim! Rosey is crate trained, walks on a leash very well, and also loves to snuggle on the couch in the evening. She would love children and definitely loves other dogs. However, small children (under six years) may be overwhelmed by her energetic enthusiasm. She may or may not like cats. If you are interested in adopting Rosey, please email Mary at [email protected] for an application. Home Check and Vet Check required. No children under 5 please.

The $150.00 adoption fee helps cover the cost of care including spay/neuter, first set of vaccinations, microchip, and worming. All adult dogs are heartworm tested and are heartworm negative unless otherwise stated.
