Rookie is an approx. 10 month old choc lab mix who was found wandering the countryside before he came into the SOS program. He is a smart dog and appears to be housetrained, crate trained, gets along with other dogs & cats. Rookie knows a few commands – sit & shake but will need an active family who is willing to work on perfecting his other basic obedience skills. Due to his age and probably lack of training from his former home, he is a bit jumpy/active therefore
we are recommending a home with older children. Rookie is scheduled to be neutered 4/29 and will be available for adoption after 5/6/09.
