Meet Roman! Roman is an adorable young man, approximately a year old. Like all dogs of this age, he has tons of energy! He loves to play, play, play and he especially loves to wrestle with the other young pup in his foster home. His play style can be a little wild. Another young, energetic dog will love it, but older dogs may not appreciate his enthusiasm.
Roman is very smart and he loves treats so he is easy to train. His foster family is teaching him new things every day. He is already great at sit and coming when called. This is a dog who will follow you around. He always wants to be with the family in the middle of all the action. Roman rides great in the car and is relaxed at the vet. He loves toys and chewing sticks in the yard. He needs a family who is willing to work with him on walking nicely while on a leash and keeping all four on the floor. He is so fun to train because he is attentive, and so smart!
Roman needs exercise every day so he would love a fenced yard to play ball in or a family who wants to walk or run with him. When his foster family leaves the home, he does great in his crate. He is quiet, keeps it clean and is not destructive. Roman’s foster family also has cats. Roman may want to chase them, but he means no harm. We think he would do well in a house with cats if the family was willing to work with him to learn those boundaries in his new home like he has in the foster home.
Roman has loved everyone he has met. We think he would do great in a family with kids, as long as they weren’t so small that he would knock them over. This little guy is one fantastic puppy. His new family will be so lucky to have him!
He has been great about going potty outside. However we always recommend starting with potting training with any new dog of any age.
Roman is up to date on vaccines, neutered , has been heart worm tested negative and is on flea, tick and heart worm prevention. He is also microchipped already and registration of the chip is included in the adoption fee as well.
His adoption fee is $200
We accept cash, check or card.
