My Story

Big Roger was found wandering down the street near highway 401 and Kipling Ave in Etobicoke. He seemed to be totally oblivious to the traffic and was heading into oncoming traffic when one of our volunteers saw him! She maneuvered quite the intervention and was able to get Roger to hop into her car. She took him to the vet clinic and also called animal services. He stayed at the shelter for 10 days and no one claimed him, and no one seemed to be missing him - it is very sad when this happens as it does happen more than we know. Roger has come into the rescue program and is doing very well and has a sweet, silly personality. Admittedly, he looks like a bit of a tough guy, but in actual fact, he's a cream puff, slobberfest goofy kind of guy. All vetting done, he's now neutered and is ready, willing and able to find his forever home. They think he's about 7 years old - if only dogs could talk we could find out what his story is but it will remain with Roger as he's been somewhere for the last 7 years!
