Rocky-PA-adopted!

1/10/07 - Yes, Rocky still needs a home. He is in Sinking Spring, PA. 6/16/06 - I am trying to find a good home for Rocky, a 5 yr old, my sister's Irish Setter / Setter Mix. My sister's youngest daughter is autistic and is afraid when Rocky barks. My sister and her husband found Rocky at the Humane Society where his first owners had taken him because he was "too active" and they lived in an apartment. My sister has had him for a few years, and the first owners were right, Rocky is very, very busy. He runs in their yard for hours and doesn't get tired. He has no idea how to walk on a leash, but is very good with children, dogs and dog-friendly cats. My mom said she only saw Rocky growl one time and it was when he had a pigs ear treat and was afraid someone might take it. Rocky is very thin, and the vet said it is because he never stops moving. She has him on puppy food for the extra calories. Rocky is neutered and up to date on vaccines. I put some pictures of Rocky online for you to see. He is a bit difficult to photograph because he doesn't sit. I do think he can be taught, but noone has ever taken the time. My mom says he is also very excitable in the car.
