Looking for a boy with a heart as big as the Rocky Mountains? Look no further! Rocky Mountain is a super sweet boy who has shown that the way to his heart is with treats and pets!! He will gladly befriend you if you have a few hot dog pieces and promises to take them very gently. He enjoys romping around and would love an active owner to adventure with for life! Walks really nicely with minimal pulling. Loves treats sooo much! Takes pets alll over- he's a very affectionate boy! Came up to me several times, had his paws in my lap taking pets, and leaned into me. He's a bit jumpy in his excitement to cuddle but petite and gentle with it. He can be a bit snatchy with treats, but it's more that he doesn't know where exactly to take them from so goes for the fingers instead of the palm. Very treat motivated, he went over the A frame multiple times because I dropped treats over it. Loves pets, sweet boy! Per Staff 7/31/24; BEHAVIOR EVALUATION: KNOWN HISTORY: Owner surrender KENNEL PRESENTATION: Rocky was wiggly at the front of the kennel and was very excitable doing toe taps and bunny hops in the kennel. He was eager to exit and did try to push out a bit but remained fairly easy to leash. Exited without issue and returned easily. LEASH SKILLS: Pulled moderately HANDLING: Rocky is a bundle of energy! In the room he was very social, playful, and handler oriented. He bounced around, following me in the room and soliciting attention, trying to get me to play with him. He was wiggly and relaxed with all handling and would lean in as I pet him. When I wasnt paying attention to him he was very funny and would nudge me with his head for more pets and shove himself into my lap. He took teats gently when offered and was a very happy go lucky pup in the room. PLAY: Very playful and high energy.
