My name is ROCKY JR., and If you will take just a moment to read all about me, I just know you will want to meet me! I have come to this great rescue after I ended up at a local shelter, where they were overcrowded, and my Foster Mom picked ME out of all the dogs there! How lucky was that?! I appear to be a Black Mouth Cur mix(possibly with a Dachshund or Bassett, with my short stubby legs!) and I am just a youngster at about 6 to 7 months old. I was all alone when I was ended up on some kind people's front porch. They were so nice to me, and got me to safety at the shelter. I am currently 25 pounds, current on my age appropriate vaccines, am micro chipped, and heartworm negative! My neuter is scheduled for August 6th at the local Vet, so once that is done, I am ready to go!! You can still pre adopt me, so don't let that appointment date hold you back! I wouldn't want you to miss out on taking me home! I am good with the other dogs in my Foster home, although I am a tad bit shy. I do great in my crate, and did my business outside!! I'm good on on the leash too! Oh, and I LOVE to give you kisses!! Not sure how I am with children or cats, because my Foster home does not have either of them. Well, I do hope you'll want to meet me now that you have read all about me! With my unique look, I will be a great conversation starter with people while we are out on our walks!!
