Rocky-gr8 markings

Meet Rocky!!! Rocky is a young pup that came to the pound needing a little help. Rocky had some swelling around his face. A STH volunteer rescued him so he could get immediate care. Upon examination and testing, it was discovered that this cute little guy had "Juvenile Cellulitis or Puppy Strangles". STH has provided Rocky with all the appropriate vet care and medicine to help him recover.

Rocky will receive the rest of his age appropriate vet care, including his shots, neuter, deworming, and flea prevention around the end of this month (April).

Rocky is ALL puppy right now...cute as a whip and full of energy. He lives for three things...his kibble, his playtime with other dogs, and giving kisses. He is a wonderful pup.

He is being crate trained right now. He is not house trained, but he is still very young and with time and continued patience, he will learn. He is getting better and receives lots of praises when he goes outside. His future home will need to have patience and be consistant. Time and team effort will all in the family is needed to properly train a dog. If you would like to make Rocky a loving part of your home, please consider that you have the time to work with him.

He needs plenty of toys, exercise and things to chew; a dog companion would be great for Rocky as he loves his human but LOVES to play with other dogs (as seen in the video)...if not a daily companion than a effort to go to the dog park or other canine socializing opportunities would be good for him.

Now accepting applications for this cute pup and a deposit to hold him. His breed is unknown, but appears to have the coloring and similar markings to a Rottie or Hound or Shepard...
