Rock is a 145 pound English Mastiff. He is as sweet as he can be. He was turned in to the Licking County Shelter by a family that could not keep him, for reasons we don't know. Rock seems great with other dogs and with children; we don't know yet about cats.
UPDATE: Rock's surgery for "cherry eye" and his neuter have been completed. Rock has also completed treatment for a bladder infection. He is ready for adoption. We prefer fenced yard and knowledge of this breed.
UPDATE: Rock's cherry eye came back. Unfortunately this is not uncommon. He has to have surgery once again to try and correct it. Potential adopters should be aware that this is a condition that could return in the future. Chronic dry eye is also something that can develop in the future which would require eye drops several times a day. Only serious inquiries who are going to be willing to address his ongoing medical condition should apply to adopt this big love bug.
