ROC & TIG - ADOPTE

ROCCO and TIGGER ARE A PAIR AND WILL NOT BE SEPARATED

These two 8 yr old Maltese boys, (we are not sure if they are brothers or not), 8 and 9 lbs, respectively, belonged to a senior woman who was recently put in a home. Her son asked LHH to take them and we agreed... and instead of contacting us to get them when he was ready, he dumped them in the shelter!!! I doubt mom would have approved :(( The boys are very loving, a little bossy and kissy....they are VERY active and playful -- Rocco likes to run around with a toy in his mouth (thinks he is a Golden Retriever) and Tigger likes to shred paper!! Who says these dogs are 8 yrs old!!! They are very smart and opinionated....not loud but bark as Maltese do (like canine doorbells)!! They have a lot of life in them and are wonderful companion animals. Tigger will scratch on the door when he wants to go for a walk -- they are great on a leash and in the car. Owner said they were trained though a doggie door, which they use after they have marked here and there to let you know "they have arrived and they own the place!! With a little patience and training, they will be awesome(actually, they already are, just a bit on the hyper side)...but they will need TLC and understanding. They are lap dog when they relax and just are way fun. They spent the first 8 yrs old their lives with one person and now they are somewhere new! They seem to acclimate quickly. Since they have had zero training -- they are smart and they will learn quickly. They are already better on a leash than when they arrived. These little guys have lots and lots of good years ahead of them... no issues, allergies or health problems. Best home would be with no other dogs and someone who can spend time loving them who loves the breed! Kids over 10, who won't leave the front door open, would be great! Our website is updated daily. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag! Thanks for thinking rescue and adoption!!
