River and Kallie

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! We recently welcomed sisters River and Kallie, uber cute terrier mixes of Boston and Jack Russell, who were surrendered to rescue due to lack of time. Despite the reason for their surrender, they are very well behaved, and act more maturely than their age of just 18 months. They are quite attached to each other, and we would like to see them get adopted together. Kallie is the gal on the right with the curly locks. She’s a little more timid than her sister, but is affectionate and warms up fast when meeting new folks. Kallie loves to snuggle up with her people for naps, but is also equally happy to chill on the floor by herself with her little frog legs. River takes the lead in new situations, and looks out for her sister. She’s instantly social and likes being around people, so much so that she can often be seen standing on her hind legs like a human. Both girls are about 18 pounds, clean in the house, and crate trained. They travel well in the car and are good on walks, and also love the freedom of being able to play in a fenced yard.
