This boy is ready to give some very lucky family a ton of love and great companionship and have you in stitches with his quirky behaviour. This ‘old soul’ is smart and attentive and loves his walks and playing with his toys. He loves all visitors, including children and cats, rabbits, and birds. He’s very gentle and soft-footed in their company so as not to startle or stress them and they don’t mind him being around. Renton does get along with other dogs but when it comes to “his home” he has made it quite clear he prefers to be the only dog.
Renton walks well on his leash with minimal corrections. This boy always comes when called and has never strayed even when provoked by other animals. He sometimes takes a little more time to evaluate stairs. If carpeted, he can manage them ~ if the surface is slippery or narrow, he may choose not to go.
