I never thought I would be looking for a new home at this stage in my life but sadly, my owner has to go into an assisted living facility and they won't let him take me along. Sunshine helped me find a really great home 5 years ago and I am hoping that lightening will strike twice for me.
So, let me tell you a little about myself. I am 11, but still love my walks and toys followed by a nice long snooze on the couch. I am completely housebroken, good around kitties, and not a problem barker. So far so good, right? OK, here goes. I am a little afraid of thunder, could probably stand to lose a few pounds, and I don't really enjoy being around small yappy dogs (you know the kind). Boy, it feels good to admit that! Anyway, I'm an affectionate, mellow fellow who would be a super companion for someone who is home a lot and looking for a really great Golden to keep them company.

In some cases, the specific dog you are interested in may have found a home before this process is complete or further assessment may find that this dog is not the right match for your family. We are regularly getting new Golden’s in need of a home, so we encourage you to apply and get approved so that when the right dog comes along you will be ready.The information provided on each dog is based on observations of our vets, volunteers, fosters and when available, trainers. Dogs evolve differently in different environments and we cannot predict with any certainty how the dog you adopt will act in your home Our dogs are fostered in private homes.
