Hi there, I’m Reggie, a handsome little Chug (Chihuahua Pug mix), about 1 year old, 9.4 lbs, and I was standing in the street when a lady picked me up and tried to find my owner. I wasn't wearing any identification, I wasn't chipped, and nobody recognized me (of course, this is Texas), so I guess I was a free agent, available to go to the highest bidder or anyone who wanted to help me. It turns out 4 Little Paws Rescue was the lucky winner and I have been safe and sound at a foster home ever since. I’m now vaccinated and neutered, and of course, microchipped, so I’m ready to meet the next lucky person who gets to love me forever! I am a sweet little boy with an average energy level, shy when I first meet people so please be patient, but once I feel safe I’m ready for snuggles. I adore other dogs and love to play so it would be great if I had a built-in doggy playmate in my new home. I’m the loyal type and I bond nicely with my people, almost like Velcro but without the separation anxiety. My foster mom says I’m quite the character, comical and entertaining, I enjoy army crawling towards you and then rolling on my back so I can stare at you while upside down, it’s all fun and games and silliness because I’m just a happy little guy! I’m not a fan of being kept in a crate so my foster mom lets me roam freely, and I’m a good boy. No chewing on things other than my doggy toys, and I am working on some housebreaking skills and doing well on a schedule. I am learning to walk on a leash with my little harness on, and I don't mind taking a ride in the car. At bedtime I’m snuggled up right beside you, sleeping soundly all night long. All I can say is that my future looks bright and I am looking forward to a loving home in a brand-new city anywhere along the Eastern Seaboard, far far away from Texas!
