Reggie

In Buxton, Maine - Hi! I love everyone! I love dogs. I love people. I love sunshine. I love water. I’m a happy dog! My foster mom has not seen me with little people or farm animals, so I’d need to be introduced, but I’d probably love them. I am a healthy and young mature 3 year old, 60 lb dog who likes to run, roll in the grass, and jump for joy. My foster mom doesn’t like to be jumped on, so I try to jump near but not on her, but sometimes I cannot help myself! I walk well on the leash unless I am excited. Sometimes I pull. I am just learning! I get in and out of the car and travel well. I sit to let Mom put down my dinner, and I am a good boy in the house. Mom is not sure I am 100% housetrained, but I am very good during the day. Mom puts a belly band on me at night and I always keep it dry. I love being brushed. I am learning how to play frisbee and chase a ball, and I always want to be with my people. I will go into my crate, but Mom hasn’t made me sleep there since the first night. Mom puts me in my crate if my people are not at home. I am OK with that for a couple of hours. Mom does not let me on the bed or furniture. I prefer the tile floor to the dog beds, but I love cuddling, so if you want a 60 lb lapdog, I would be happy to oblige! I love being touched, so grooming is OK with me. I do have a thick double coat, so brushing weekly is important. I like chew toys! I have not chewed any furniture, but I like to chew. Reggie is neutered and up to date on vaccines. He is being fostered in Maine.
