Reese is Adopted
Reese is currently fostered in Hermitage PA, and his adoption donation is $350
Please meet Reese a 15 week old Welsh Terrier.
Reese is a lively, full of energy, young pup that needs daily exercise and consistent training.
He has a typical terrier attitude: curious, feisty, strong willed, independent, and extremely intelligent.
Welsh Terriers with the proper training become loyal, affectionate companions who are eager to please and will do well in a family environment.
Reese’s favorite game is tug of war and he is always looking for action and entertainment.
He will walk on a leash and seems to have some understanding about going potty when being walked; however, he is not housebroken and will need time and patience to understand what is being expected of him.
His current owners do say he will potty on papers on the floor.
He loves to play with other dogs and sometimes will play too rough as all puppies do.
Reese is young and needs to learn the dos and don’ts of proper canine behavior both with humans and other dogs.
He is not toy or food aggressive. He will go in a crate but it is not his favorite place to be as he wants to be with people.
Terriers are great watch dogs and Reese seems to be on track for this duty as he will let you know when people come to the door.
Reese is an owner surrender because his current family does not have the time to devote to his training.
Reese does respond to corrections and would thrive with a person who has the time to devote to consistent training and is willing to give him lots of people time!!
If you are interested in this zippy Welshman and understand the characteristics of the terrier breed then Reese is the dog for you.
Reese is current on all of his vaccines, including his rabies, and will adopted out on a neuter contract at his owners expense.
If you would like to adopt Reese or would like more information on him, please fill out an adoption application.
