My Story

This is a courtesy posting for another rescue. For information about this dog please email [email protected]

Ranger is a big boy, but he’s just a huge sweetheart. His breed is anyone’s guess, but he appears to be part Saint Bernard, along with maybe some Hound and/or Mastiff or Pit Bull. He's approximately 2-3 years old and weighs about 80-90 pounds.
We pulled Ranger from a shelter where he was at risk of euthanasia due to overcrowding.

He’s a mellow guy and after running around for a few minutes collapses at your feet and takes a nap. He loves putting his huge head on your lap and getting his head rubbed, or tries to climb up on your lap and be a lap dog. He’s perfect in the car and loves looking out the window. He appears to be completely housetrained.

He’s excellent with other dogs and loves going to the dog park. He allows a 4-month-old puppy to climb all over his head and stick her head in his mouth and he’ll back down from a 10-pound Boston Terrier who wants his toy.

Ranger is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. There is a $175 adoption fee to help pay for his care. If you are interested in adopting Ranger please email [email protected] for more information and an adoption application.
