My Story

Ramona was Rescued about three weeks ago from the dreaded E-List at PACC. Being a big black dog her card was going to be called too soon but luck had it, that I had room for such a dog! And what a dog Ramona is! She's about 3 years old, around 65 - 70 pounds and basically a living teddy bear. Seriously.. she lays around and if you want to lay on her or hug her that's fine by her! She likes the slower things in life. Simple leisurely walks, and stopping to enjoy the view is her kind of fun or just putting her big head in your lap while you pet her extra soft (Surprisingly little shedding) coat is perfect. She doesn't want to play but she does want to be your everything. When you're away she'll wait for you to return, without destroying or peeing in the home. This lady does love her bones though! She doesn't care about other dogs, I don't know how she is with cats and kids are a giant lollipop to her! She's so sweet and low key that 99% of the time she simply doesn't care much about how adored and admired she really is. She doesn't even bark at people who walk by or enter my home (Definitely not a good guard dog!). Oh and if you want to know about her breed I'd call her a Newfoundland mix but others call her a Retriever/Lab mix. All I know is that Ramona is a one of a kind dog with a heart of gold. Please call Alex to meet Ramona at 906-4105
