My Story

NOTE: "RAGS, is best friends with MAX & both are in residence at Camp Bow Wow in Lawrenceville, which generously donates space at their beautiful facility to Animal Alliance for dogs awaiting adoption. The staff at Camp Bow Wow has lots of praise for these 2 wonderful brothers, who are totally bonded and must be adopted together." Adoption donation for both RAGS & MAX is $500.

RAGS is a 2 year-old male Wirehaired terrier mix that weighs about 25 pounds. His foster mother selected this name because the canine RAGS has a whimsical and mischievous personality. RAGS is a bold and energetic and will be an enthusiastically playful companion. This guy is smart and will be eager to learn tricks and commands.RAGS, once secure in his new home will be a loyal and devoted companion. He wants to be part of the family, have lots of exercise, and be showered with loving affection. To meet RAGS please fill out the Animal Alliance online application. RAGS has an important request. This amazing dog has a best friend to whom he is utterly bonded. His friend is also on the Animal Alliance website and named MAX. To see them together is as if they were joined at the hip. After much careful thought Animal Alliance has determined that the boys must be adopted together. These two are like a ballet, every move and gesture is in unison. RAGS and MAX will be wonderful long time house guests.

This pet is spayed or neutered in accordance with our strict policy wherein all animals are altered prior to adoption. This pet is dewormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.

Prior to submitting an application, please see the Animal Alliance Adoption Process for adoption details.

Animal Alliance is not a shelter where all the animals are housed in one location. Animal Alliance is a foster care network and animals are housed in many different locations. If you are interested in adopting a pet, please apply using the online application; applicants who call our phone line will hear a recorded voicemail with this identical message. We adopt many animals each week and meet prospective adopters at various locations so they can meet the animals they are interested in.
