they finally went to foster care late August. they are having a hay day there and going to the dog park. they love kids. here is an update from Thanksgiving weekend: "Raggs and Muggs are completely settled in here after 1 week, they have gotten the routine down in no time. We have only had a couple accidents in the house, but I think that was my fault for giving too many treats. Raggs is eating very well every day, and seems to have put on about as much weight as his back legs will allow. Both their elbow calluses are healing well. They get along great with my girls so they spend the evenings when we are home in the main house with us. They are both now crate trained and seem to be happy. They are both very content here. We will still continue to search for a better home for them, one not so noisy and with someone who doesn't work as much as I do. They are being well cared for, my stepson gets home from school at 4 and makes sure all the dogs get out for a pee and some play time"
these guys were left in boarding kennel mid May - the woman dropped them off at kennel was to have adopted them from the nun who just went in to a nursing home at age 81 - who had taken them in a year before from the father of the church - who passed away.
the vet records list them as born Nov. 25, 1997 - they are listed as cockapoos - but the only thing cockapoo is the size and docked tail - they look more like a beagle head - their vet records go back to puppyhood
In order to adopt from us we do require the dog adoption application to be completed on the adoption page of www.adoptapet.lucknow.on.ca - Please fill out a dog adoption form here: Dog Form
We do have complete vet records for them. Due to the fact we want them adopted out together and due to their age - the adoption placement fee is being waived.
