I'm Rafferty. I was picked up as a stray and moved almost immediately to foster care. I think I was born early in 2005. Not sure what I'm mixed with but I weigh 46 pounds and could stand to gain a pound or two. I'm a very well behaved boy and love to play, be it with people or other dogs. Although there has been a dog or two that I don't think I care for. I love to play in water on these hot summer days. Nope, don't melt. I'm a very happy dog. I come when called but haven't quite grasped 'sit'. We're working on it.
Cats? Nobody knows and I'm not saying how I feel about them. So let's say no cats. I've been to do a little pulblic relations work at the Market Days Booth and foster mom has discovered that I'm really good with kids.
I hear that I'm pretty smart. I always bark to let my foster mom know I need to be out of the kennel for a while - you know - to do my business. I've tried looking longingly at the door into the house ... foster mom is apologetic but says that can't be. Maybe at your house?
I'm neutered, hearworm free and up to date on my shots.
